I've been working rellentlessly for the last 3 weeks on a SC2 Mod I'm currently calling "Last Ones Left".
Its a Survival Shooter.
The concept is simply to collect 10 gas canisters and then make your way to a space ship.
Four heroes are all that are left on a dying planet. The rest are zombies and mutations.
Click on images to make them larger!
There are various starting locations. The four heroes start together in any of these locations at random. You may have up to four players in this co-op. If you have less, the nonplayed heroes simply die.
One of the catches in this campaign is that your hero can starve out of ammo and energy.
If your energy runs out you lose health over time.
As you can see in this picture my energy is at 0. If I don't eat something soon, I'll continue to degen and die.
Other features in this campaign is you can pick up various weapons. Right now I have a flame thrower, explosive rounds, a sniper rifle, and your primary weapon a regular rifle. In this picture I'm using the flame thrower. You may switch between your primary weapon and your secondary one at any time. However, you can only carry two weapons at most (your primary and one of any of the secondary weapons).
If an ally is low on energy and you have at least 50, you can give 50 of your energy to them(spare your personal rations) to save their life. Likewise, you can share 20 rifle ammo at a time. Currently, heroes can also store one weapon, food, or medkit by picking it up with their "collect item" skill. Dropping the stored item is done by simply clicking the "drop item" skill.
Typing in "-inventory" also shows you what is in your inventory. Again, you can only carry one item at this time.

The map is designed to get you in bad situations often. During night time, there's a lot of zombie spawns, but during day time there's a lot less. Depending on your play style you may just camp during night time and then scavange during the day. In the picture above I got boxed into a corner.
Note: The 2d portrait is just a filler. I'm intending to replace the marine model with something else. When that happens, I'll be using that models portrait. As for the design of the models, I'm currently researching what real life actors to reference. Each character as a unique personality that I hope to really bring out while in game- simaliarly to the Left 4 Dead characters. If you ever played Left 4 Dead 1 or 2 you'll notice the characters actually talk to each other and make witty remarks. That's one game element I would love to replicate in some way or another because it is an excellent story telling technique.

Zombies also drop keys to "vacant" vehicles. If you manage to get one of these keys,
you have the option to look for the vehicle the keys actualy go to. Currently, the correct vehicles are any labeled "vacant". In the picture above I'm driving around a vacant tanker truck. You can still starve while driving vehicles, so be sure to keep an eye on that.
To enter a vehicle, you simple kill some zombies and hopefully get a key. Then you move your hero really close to the vehicle and use your "enter vehicle" skill on it. In order to leave the vehicle you use the "exit vehicle" skill. Both skills use the same hot key of "E". I made sure all of the different abilities your hero has contain an easy to use hotkey. ![]()

I won't ruin all the surprises I have lined up. However, I hope this preview gives you a good idea what's to come. ^_^
If you wanna help test this thing, just let me know! There is currently no public release of the map.
